We’ve created this resource to provide a simple way to start your year and get to know your new group of students. Welcome back!

This activity will make a great first-day-of-school activity and a better back-to-school information-gathering tool.

Students will complete a survey providing you with important information, including

• How they are feeling about the new school year
• What they think they are good at
• What they need more help with
• And more!

We’ve included three primary-grade versions. Grades K and 1 are provided with a cut-and-paste activity, while the second grade is composed of written responses.
