Back to School Activity | Icebreaker Bingo Game | Student Introduction Activity

Kick-off a new school year with a getting-to-know-you icebreaker game!

It's back-to-school season, which means there are new faces to meet and introduce to one another. To help your students make new friends and get active, try playing a quick game of Icebreaker Bingo that involves getting up, moving around, and mingling.

To take part, distribute a Bingo board and writing tool to each student. Set a timer or play music and have the students walk around the classroom, pausing to converse with their peers. If a prompt is relevant to a student, they will sign their Bingo board. The first student to fill a row or column will exclaim "BINGO!" and be announced as the champion.
